Site Troubles
The forum is down at the moment. I'm working on getting it fixed. Even my webhosts page is down, so either they have serious technical problems or they're gone. The link has been changed to the old EzBoard forum which we'll use until something is worked out.

Messer signing dates
According to WOM (World of Music), the Messer signing dates in January 2003 have been cancelled because "because rammstein will be in the studio in january -- recording a new album." The dates for February have not been confirmed yet.Thanks to Hunter for this information.

Rammstein Contest

Rammstein invite one fan to Berlin, + take over travel costs and accomodation
for 3 nights. The cherry on top will be a Meet & Greet with one or
more members of Rammstein who you will interview with chosen questions
from Fanarea Members (we will chose these questions from your mails,
details in January). If you feel ready to face this journey to Berlin,
please write a mail to [edited out] and give a BRIEF unique explanatory
statement why you and nobody else should be the one to win this prize
until January, 31st 2003. Legal actions and selling of souls are excluded.
The winner will be announced in February.

Among all members who paid their annual membership fee three times in
a row, we draw 6 who will get their next year in the Fanarea for free

2001.

Rammstein Stage for sale
Rammstein are selling part of the Mutter stage set. Up for bids right now are the "sun beds" that held the vertical lights behind the band. The lights are not included since they were rentals. Basically, unless you run a club or something, these are pretty worthless. Right now, bids are only being accepted from fanarea members.
Messer signings
According to www.wom.de, Till will be doing signings for his book of poems, Messer. He will be at the Leipzig branch of WOM on December 16 and the Berlin branch on December 17th. There will also be more dates in Germany during January.
More False Rumors
There is a rumor that Rammstein will be releasing a final single from Mutter around Christmas time. This is not true.

Christoph Remixing Slick Idiot Song
Christoph's remix of the Slick Idiot song, Xcess, has finally been released. Slick Idiot's album, Dicknity, was released last month and can be purchased from their official site. The song can also be found on a $6 goth compilation called Graver's Paradise in Hot Topic in the US.

Mutter Tour Book
There is a new Rammstein book! This one can be bought ONLY at the Official Rammstein Shop (which just re-opened today). It is a paperback with 53 pages of pictures from the Mutter tour through Germany 2001. It has live shots and backstage shots. It doesn't appear that there is any text in the book. The book costs 15 Euros (~$15) for non-Fanarea members and 10 Euros (~$10) for fanarea members. For orders outside of Germany, you WILL need to order another item as there is an approximately 25 Euro minimum.
Album News
On the Select show on MTV, one of the band members, either Paul or Christoph, stated that they have slowly begun writing new songs. It could still take a while to see anything substantial from them.
