New Tour Dates
More tour dates have been added in 2010 in England and the Scandanavian countries. I'm a little surprised that only three dates were announced for England and no other UK dates yet. Maybe they'll happen a little later?
Rehearsal Concerts
Rammstein will be performing three rehearsal concerts in Berlin at the end of October. They typically do this prior to the start of an album and it typically occurs at the Knaack Club. To be eligible, you must be a member of the official fanarea. I assume you can sign up now and still be eligible, but hurry up, the raffle is on this Friday, September 18th. Three of the lucky winners, each with 1 guest, will also be flown in for the show by Rammstein!
Bonus Tracks
Rammstein have confirmed that there will be a special edition of the new album that will contain five bonus tracks! No confirmation on what those tracks will be and still no confirmation on the tracklisting on the standard album.
New Merchandise
New merchandise has been uploaded to the official Rammstein Shop for the Pussy single.

Pussy Video Premiere
Sorry, I thought I posted about this last week, but I guess I just posted it in the forum (join the forum!!). The video for Pussy will premiere on September 16th at 10pm CET (that's 4pm EST) at a porn site (http://www.visit-x.net/rammstein/). You will have to copy and paste that link into your browser as I am unwilling to link directly to a porn site and possibly have that effect my standings in the search engines. The Gauntlet has posted the remainder of the video trailers for the Pussy video - they all contain nudity, including male frontal; however, the male "actor" in the videos is not a Rammstein member - they had their heads photoshopped onto his body.
Album and Single Editions
Like typical Rammstein, there will be about 11 billion different versions of the album and single that will be released.
For the single, there will be a standard edition with just the two tracks, there will be a limited edition digipack which will also include a poster, a 12-inch vinyl, and a 7-inch viagra blue vinyl. The two vinyls will be sold exclusively at What Records in the UK and it looks like only 3,000 copies of each will be made. It also looks like the single will be available in the US via iTunes.
For the album, the official tracklisting actually hasn't been confirmed yet (although we basically know what songs will be on it, we just don't know the order yet), but there are rumors that at least one of the editions will include bonus, previously unreleased tracks.

Album Info Confirmed
Rammstein have confirmed that the new album, Liebe ist für alle da, will be released in Germany on October 16, 2009. Although specific countries weren't listed for the release, it seems like they are going for a worldwide release of the album at roughly the same time, so if your country typically releases music on Friday's, you can likely expect the album to be released on October 16th. If releases are done on Monday's, then expect it on October 19th. If Tuesday's, then on October 20th. The cover art can be found in the releases section.
Pussy Single
Although it has not been confirmed, multiple online retailers are using the image from Rammstein's previous newsletter depicting the band members as women as the cover, so that will likely be confirmed as the cover to the single soon. The cover art for the single can be found in the releases section. Two more promotional videos for Pussy have been released and can be found on The Gauntlet's website. Like the other videos, there is full male and female nudity in these videos. At this rate, it doesn't look like it'll be safe for me to upload any screencaps of the video to my site without being labeled a porn site....
Lyrics Translations
I will not have time to work on translations for the new album. If you would like to submit your english translations of the lyrics, please contact me. I do reserve the right to "tweak" the lyrics or to use lyrics from multiple people, I just ask that they are original lyrics created by you and you try not to put too much interpretation into your translation - we do not know what's in Till's head when he's writing his lyrics, so I would like to try to keep the lyrics as literal as possible, however they must make sense.
10 Year Anniversary
It's hard to believe, but September 5th was the 10 year anniversary of this site. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for helping to make this site a success, I couldn't have done it without you!

Album Release Date
According to The Gauntlet (very reliable) and Metal Underground, the new album will be coming out in the US on October 20th. It is likely that countries that have Monday release dates for music will see the album no later than October 19th and countries with Friday release dates will see the album no later than October 16th. Because of The Gauntlet's reputation, I feel it's safe to consider the 20th a confirmed date for the US release. The title of the album has not been released yet (although LIFAD is still the rumored title). The title should be released by next week.

Pussy First Single, Album Release
Hallelujah, Rammstein have finally given us some real news on the upcoming album (maybe they realized that the LIFAD bullshit on facebook and twitter was just worthless???). The first single has been confirmed to be Pussy and will be released September 18. Amazon.com has listed the single as an import that will ship on September 22 for $10.49. Rammstein posted in interesting news story regarding the release of the album - I'd post it here, but out of fear of a lawsuit, I'll just redirect you to their news story. It looks like an additional line from the song has been released (we previously had "You’ve got a pussy / I’ve got a dick / So what's the problem? / Let's do it quick!") and it's "So take me now, oh don't you see I can't get laid in Germany..."
The single will consist of two tracks - Pussy and Rammlied. No word if Rammlied will still be released on the album (hopefully not because then we'd only have 9 new tracks when the new album comes out).
Also, a 20 second promo for Pussy was aired on German tv for Pussy. It can be viewed at The Gauntlet's website. Warning: There is nudity in the video and you will hear a small snippet of the song, but the video is not of the highest quality.
They also confirmed that the new album will be coming out in October (the 30th has been rumored for the Germany release). Also, it seems likely that the album name will be Liebe ist für alle da, but that is not confirmed.

Management Going After More Fansites - Petition
Management has now gone after yet another popular Rammstein fansite, this time the victim is Rammstein-Europe.com. According to the webmaster, management has taken issue with the posting of copyrighted unpublished photos (I think they may have been published in the fanarea) by users of the forum while the webmaster was on vacation and also because the domain name contains the word "Rammstein" which is trademarked. The webmaster is asking for donations to help pay his legal bills and keep his website alive.
Chiq, a Rammstein fan, has written a petition to send to management that describes how the fan community feels like it is mistreated by management. If you agree, please sign the petition and spread it around to any other Rammstein fans that you know. You can find the petition here. I've already signed and I hope you will too. If you'd like to discuss this with other Rammstein fans, there is a thread for it in the forum, please join and share your views.

Four Additional Germany Dates - 2010
Four additional dates have been added in Germany for a total of 8 in February 2010. Although nothing is confirmed and I have not heard any rumors, I suspect that February and March will include additional tour dates throughout Europe, Russia, and the UK.
Metal Hammer UK Review of New Album

Three Year Tour
No, not a three hour tour, a three year tour. Paul stated in an interview with Noisecreep that the plan is to tour for three years and that they do plan on coming to the US. It is difficult for them to tour here though due to smaller venue sizes, flying their stage props here, and possible new pyrotechnics restrictions due to a fire at a club during a concert by the band Great White. Let's hope the Skipper's right and they make it over here. (kudos to those getting the Gilligan's Island references :p)

From various interviews and the listening sessions that members of the media have participated in, it looks like the album will consist of the following 11 tracks, in no particular order:

This information is not confirmed, so it is possible that not all of these songs make it on to the album - they could be b-sides on singles or they could become unreleased songs.
New Music Video
It seemed as if Liebe ist für alle da was going to be the first single / video, but now it looks like it will be Pussy. Jonas Akerlund (director for the Mann gegen Mann video) directed it. The source for this info is Sebastian Soukup's website, however it is down at the time of this posting. As usual, this is not confirmed news, so it may change in the future.

Summaries of 8 New Songs
Terrorizer.com has posted a short summary of 8 of the new songs. The 8 song titles are the same as the ones I reported yesterday by Kerrang Magazine (except spelled correctly this time). Some of these songs sound very promising (Ich tu dir weh, Haifisch, and Wiener Blut) and some... not so much ("Pussy" which has the following lyrics sung in English: "You’ve got a pussy / I’ve got a dick / So what's the problem? / Let's do it quick!"). No word on whether or not the entire song is in English.
Rammstein.com Updates
Rammstein.com has been updated with a slightly different style. A new news article was posted today (but dated August 4th???) stating that the album mixing was completed in Stockholm, Sweden. They have confirmed that the new album will be an 11 track album. The first music video has been shot. Some photos were added to the official site that were taken during the album's pre-production at Castle Beesenstedt. A media list was also added that lists many upcoming interviews with various media outlets around the world.

Rammstein's New Promotion
Rammstein have reportedly hired an online publicist and it looks like the promotion for the new album has started. A new website (with numerous domain names) has been brought online with links to a facebook account and a twitter account with some very interesting text.... This website can be accessed by any of the following links that have been registered by Pilgrim Management (coincidentally, "Liebe ist für Alle Da" has been widely rumored to be the first single from the new album and can be translated as "There is Love for All").
Rammstein Signs Distribution Deal for US
According to The Gauntlet, Rammstein have signed a marketing and distribution deal with Vagrant Records for the US release of the new album. Hopefully this means that the album will come out here in the same week that it's released in Germany. To be clear, they did not sign a record deal with Vagrant Records.
Kerrang Interview, Song Titles
I have not seen the August 2009 interview yet, but it is reported that the band had a lot of difficulties working together to make the album and fought a lot during the making of it, but the end result has been called by some "the Black Album of Rammstein" in reference to Metallica's "black album" which is widely considered to be Metallica's best album. The article reportedly includes a partial list of songs that will be included on the 11-track album: Rammlied, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Waidmann's Heil, Pussy, "B******" (possibly Bastard), Haifisch, and Mehr. Just keep in mind that this information is NOT confirmed.
Guitar Hero 5
A couple of weeks ago, Du Hast was confirmed as the Rammstein song that will be on Guitar Hero 5. Du Hast is probably not the best choice for a game like that, but they probably wanted to go with the most popular song in the US.
