Review

I woke up at 7.30 on Thursday morning, got in the shower with my fave album "Mutter" blasting away, I'm sure i heard the neighbours banging o the wall, they were disturbing me so i turned it up!

My mate Richie (named after the greatest guitarest on the planet!) picked me up at 11.30 so we could start drinking!

We went to a pub called "The Dog and Parrot" and much to our dismay they had no Rammstein on the jukebox but the kindly owner actually went out and bought Mutter and Reise Reise just for us, well the pub was only across the road from the arena so we thought, "hell we'll stay here".

Anyway the time had finally come, we rushed in and got right to the front, we were told that Apocolyptica had cancelled, I was a bit disappointed coz i heard they played Metallica covers, but never mind i wasnt there for them!

Some people came onto the stage with torches and all you could hear was the booming chant of "Rammstein, Rammstein...." then the place started rocking to its foundations when the opening chords of Reise, Reise begun id never seen so much life in the arena before, when it finished I was already hot as hell itself but the boys we'rnt letting up, the marching stomps of Links began and we knew this was it, lets bring this arena to the floor!

As if things couldnt get any better my fave track up to now blasted on, Keine Lust! this is the only rammstein song i can actually sing all the way through and that took some learning!

Feuer Frei was next and i was hot as hell and Richard didnt help that when he donned his famous torch mask, we were nearest to him and we were roasting!

Things strangly cooled down for Morgenstern but it was a relief after the amazing onslaught we'd just recieved.

Back into action as Mein Teil kicked in this was the funniest act I have ever seen but I was worried for poor Flake as it looked as though Till was actually cooking him, never the less amazing!

Stein um Stein next another hard rocking track which had the crowd pumped with Tills roar of "STEINNNNN".

I couldnt believe my ears on the next song, the recently unheard Benzin from the upcoming album Reise Reise Vol II, well i was blown away with this powerhouse of a song, and im sure this will be their first single!

Another break as we relaxed to Los, might i add that this song sounds somewhat better live but that was probably jus the atmosphere!

Next up was Moskou, now i love this song but someone needs to clear this up with me! Is it really T.A.T.U on this track, i know it sounds retarded but ive heard it all over the net and my m8s.

The first ever single was next, Du Reichst So Gut, and this song never sounded better! by now i was sure i was goin to pass out but cries of "Bring It!!!!" from my fellow moshers kept me going, i also got my nose bashed by someones elbow here, so blood was spilled but who cared!!

Now this was the song i feared the most Du Hast, I was actually worried at this point but i jus let her rip, after all i had seen Slipknot and Slayer live so I cooled off a bit and it rocked the atmos was amazing when everyone in the arena was chanting "DU HAST MICH" by this point i was so happy i couldve cried!

The last two songs before the encores, Sehnsucht and Amerika, i was extremely impressed with the firework display on both these tracks and the confetti flying everywhere on Amerika really got people goin Im British but God Bless Amerika!!!!!

Another cool off before we began the final stage of our journey, The song Rammstein was fantastic, i heard that Till had dumped his fire coat gimmick which upset me a bit but when i seen his upgrade, OH MY GOD! the flames off the steel arms reached the ceiling of the arena i was gobsmacked, then the last two songs were played Sonne then Ich Will, I was getting emotional over the fact that it was almost over!

Then back with my 2nd fave track at the mo Ohne Dich, the vid to this song really gets me, maybes coz i have an interest in the Andes plane crash but hearing this live was a real treat!!

Finally the closer which i wasnt happy with at first, Stripped, now dont get me wrong i jus think it shoud've been Stripped then Ohne Dich but i was proven wrong, the boys wanted to go out with a bang and boy did they! Much better closer than i anticipated!

So overall this was the best show ive ever seen on top of Slipknot, Slayer, HIM absolutely AWESOME! I cant wait for the new album!
