It seems they did this show in a different order to other shows because i was using another fans setlist but my pictures dont match their setlists!
I had just moved away from the merchandise stand and we heard music, Apocalyptica had started. we got to our seats to only see their legs and the biggest set of speakers in the world was blocking our view! I went outside again and found a setewar who had tonnes of tickets in her hand, I told her of the problem and she said to get the other people I was with and to bring our tickets with us. she swapped them right away and I gave her a hug (I was sooooo excited and new i would have a better view too, didnt realise how good the view would be, especially of Richard!!!)
We were in our new seats before the end of Apocalyptica. it was then my freind and I realised then Rammstein would arrive from beneathe us so EVERY movement to our right and i though it was Rammstein!
The wait between acts was unbearable I was hypo and could only imagine the view I would have! We saw the men putting shirts and ties on and wondered if there was another band or if the standard for techitions was so high they had to look smart. They went onto the stage and used tourches, i knew Rammstein where about to come on, then Flake got ready behind the curtain and I could see shaddows of the others preparong too!! The curtain came down and everyone went crazy for Reise Reise! Richard was annoyed at something for the first few songs, not sure if it was sound, the guitars or he made mistakes! He also hurt his finger too! Every Guitar change Richard came down the stairs infornt of us, he would also ask for water and take clothes off!!!!!!!!
The first pics with fire is Feuer Frei! It was amazing we could see the techs setting Richard up with the mask! (yes this review is Richard based! he was the closest to us and we saw alot of interesting stuff!)
Mein Teil..... what can I say, I heard what would happen but it was so funny when you see it for yourself! Flake kept stuicking his head in and out of the pot! When Till cooked him there was a HUGE amount of flame for a very long time and he has decided to not wear a safty suit now (according to Kerrang!) then he got out and got a bit too close to Paul with the flares that fired from him! Very funny and better than the dildo, that was sick!
Whislt Flake was running round on fire a drumkit was set up on the mini stage on our side, it would be the only time Schneider was'nt just a leg between cymbols and toms!!!! Los was good live, I could'nt hear the singing but it was good to see everyone the ending I can't remember but it was a good rock style sound!
Moskau! Red lighting, I think because of the "prostitute" line, is it always a red light district???!!! was good, they had the backing track of the woman, I think Till sang it too, my freind was surprised I knew what to sing in the Russian part!
Du Riecht So Gut was good, again the sound wasn't good where we were, the flames for this was Till had an arc with lots of sparkly torches, he then shot at a point at the top of the stage, this exploded then a flame went along a wire above the crowd, this exploded at the back of the arena, the flames came a little way back and fizzled out!
Rein Raus (picture of Richard getting us to join in!!) this went down well with everyone the first reply seemed better than some other reviews!
Amerika, WOW!!!! Flake was on an electrical scooter (dont know how to explain, look at the pics!!!!) The streams of confetti lasted what seems like the entire song! First silver, then red white and blue! i think they used and entre forrest of trees and a tonne of foil!!!!! At the end of this they took a bow.
Richard came down and stood blocked from view, I shouted " I know where you are Richard, you are behind the box!" I was only messing around, I get very silly when excited. If Richad or another member was a few feet away from you, you might shout dum stuff too!
They came back on to do Du Hast, Till had "fire gloves", I miss the flame jacket but I suppose they must be bored of it. I think they work by Till clenching his fist which opens a valve and flame come out, HUGE flames!
I am really stuggling to remember what came next!! I can see the pictures but I'm not sure what the song is!
I think Sonne was next! lots of fire, as "eins" is said,another of my fravourite tracks.
They started to move together walk forwards then heads down with the music not really bowing, I dowbt it was even planned, it looked good tho, everyone doing the same.
Ich Will, this was really good! with the drum parts mini mushroom bomb style explosions! I was the only person were we were that new the answers! I think they made an error in this one, they said "Konnt ihr mich fuhlen" twice in a row! Another bow and break.
Ohne Dich, only Till and Flake on stage to start with, I thought this song would make me cry but it didn't maybe if i had a better hear of the sound!
Stripped, the famous boat came out, I was so glad to see it this time, it wasn't to stressfull for anyone, Oli was safe, he even looked as if he was about to stand in it at one point! He did one circuit of the standing area.
They all came together to take a bow, they swapped sides so they all thanked every area. Everyone but Richard came down the stairs by us, I got a picture of Till. I had taken off a black star ring I had made for myself and one of my bangles (the people i was with were convinced he wouldn't mind that it was pink!) after what felt like forever Richard came round from the back of the stage, I called him. He looked up and smiled and tried to catch what I dropped down. I tried to take a pic, as you can see i just about got his head. He then left. I could see the bangle on the floor but not sure if I could see the ring too. They were all eager to get away though I think, hey he may have asked someone to get them for him or gone back, I suppose after that time they may have had full bladders, i nearly wet myself literally when Richard appeard round the corner. I will never know I guess.
I am going to Berlin, I have no tickets yet but I have got to see them again, finnish what I started!
****Things a remember but cant remember where they fit in!!!
*Keine Lust was brilliant, my favourite track, the movement was like the video, Till bent double the others rocking to the music!
*Paul and Richard with blue lights on their arms at the end of a song, would have looked ace from the front.
*Till coming over to sing to us, I think it was in Du Hast.
*On one of the pics near the end of the show you can clearly see Richard with a HUGE grin! Dont know if he saw something or if he was pleasd with the reception they got!
