WUNDERBAR! That was rammsteins performance at the secc in Glasgow on the 16th of July 2005.Opening with the powerfull Reise,Reise, Til Lieberman entered theatricaly through an eerie mist of dry ice, appearing to have escaped from an underground cave. Finally approaching the stage front, he stood like the master of performance, the crowd in awe of his presence and charisma.

Rammsteins passion to ensure their audiance are given a magnificent performance through their unique pyrotechnique skills and outstanding lighting coordination, seperates themselves from other artists.

The pleasure it appears to give them to perform is clearly evedent.

Many of the fans at this venue did, indeed, appreciate the effort Rammstein and the technical crew put into creating a show like we witnessed last night. However, there was an unsavoury element in the crowd who, after becoming eniebriated became restless, creating an unrelaxed atmosphere in the building, where fans could not fully focus on the bands performance, despite their increadible stage show.

I could detect this atmosphere was being generated back to the stage as the band continuing their set appeared to try to create an air of calm and were probably puzzelled as to the lack of enthusiasm showed by the crowd even when old clasics such as "Ich Wil" was played as an encore.

I congratulate Rammstein for continuing to please the audiance who were there to support them and not give in to the small element in the crowd who showed them such disrespect. This clearly is a credit to their German nation, and was appreciated by those of us who are genuine fans.

The many fans who left after the show expressed their overwhelming enjoyment at the awesome performance, sadly too late for Rammstein to hear. I only wish their gratitude was displayed in the usual footstamping RAMMSTEIN! chant which they were wholey worthy of.

I hope this lack of enthusiasm displayed in Glasgow does not deter Rammstein from returning to our native land where appreciation is normally displayed openly as it would be a great loss to never again see who can only be described as the best band in the world.
