Review

We arrived at 4.20 pm, the concert was scheduled to 8 pm like in Amsterdam. There were already many people waiting outside the hall, so we had no choice, grabbed our things and walked to the end of the line. It was better waiting in Freiburg than in Amsterdam because someone had brought his cassette player with him and played Rammstein all the time. When they finally let people in, we found out that we were in the wrong line, because our security guy was an idiot and we had to wait much longer than people in other lines...so we got only in the 2nd row. Great!

Clawfinger was really, really great this time! And the audience was better than at all the other concerts! Some people next to me (and I) sang all the refrains with them and jumped up and down and at the last song, the audience sang alone without Clawfinger! They looked so happy!

The setlist was the same as in Amsterdam at the 1st concert. This hall was a fair hall which means that it looked like a big sports hall. It was really not made for a concert. People could stand in the 1st row at the side, but all they must have seen during the whole concert, was speakers...The stage was really small and you could see all this equipment stuff on both sides and I had the impression that the stage was further away than in Amsterdam. They wore the same clothes again, but Paul had no bar code on this time, only small light black stripes, Olli had them as well and Till had some black color on his face/throat. There was much interaction with the audience, like at the song "Rein Raus", Paul screamed "Rein" and the audience "Raus"; every time a little bit louder! At "Du hast" the audience was supposed to sing the refrain alone which wasn't bad, but some idiots like myself never knew when to start the singing... Till did the same things like usual like throwing the microphone on the ground (of the stage), hitting the stage with a microphone stand. This time even Paul (!) pushed a microphone stand and it fell to the ground. I don't remember which song it was, but Paul once lay down at stage (with his back to the ground) and just lay there. Everybody sreamed, of course. At "Weißes Fleisch", Flake did his dance and I couldn't believe my eyes when Till suddenly stepped on a platform doing a cute dance with some pyro raining from above around him. Especially at "Stripped" you could hear that Till's voice sounded a bit hoarse. When the Rammstein-crew guys brought the rubber boat to the barrier, everybody expected Flake to enter it, but suddenly Olli jumped in a real professional way in it and pointed with his finger to the end of the hall where the crowd carried him in his boat! What a great Seemann! Meanwhile, the other Rammstein members sat down on the left side between Christoph's drums and some speakers and Richard and Till lighted themselves cigarretes. There was more crowdsurfing than at any other concert I've been to (no lame Germans - ha!) After the regular concert all the Rammsteiners bowed to the crowd  and then again after the 2nd encore. Till only screamed "Freiburg" once during the concert and never said "thank you" in any language.

The aftershow party was held in a club called "exit" and with your Rammstein ticket you could get in for free (cool!). It was kind of a cellar: there was one room where they played whatever you might call it, "Industrial", "Nu Metal", I don't know. During the first hour we stayed there, I only knew 3 songs: 2 Placebo-songs and "ich will". They played few Rammstein songs. In the other room they played techno-/dancefloormusic. And the 3rd room was the VIP lounge, where people stood at the entrance staring in as if it were a public zoo. Only Christoph showed up in the "normal" discotheque's room with a girl who bought a drink there, but he soon disappeard because he was chased by fans wanting him to sign autographs. But above all, it was really a great evening and I'm looking forward to more German concerts, if only there weren't so many people!
