Review

Obviously the lineup was crossbreed -> Godhead -> Rammstein. Crossbreed didn't sound too good live, although I am now a big fan of their CD. I would like to hear them again; I bet they would have sounded better. It was disappointing but my favorite song by them was Pure Energy, which they completely messed up. I have to admit they looked real cool with all the neon's all over the singers. They had a real cool guitarist with long black dreads and he had neon material throughout his hair. Then during Godhead, the lead singer from Crossbreed came out into the crowd, and my friends and I got to talk to him a bit.

Next up were Godhead, which I hadn't heard too much good stuff about before the band came out, and yea basically my friends and I were expecting them to suck. In the end, I thought they sounded all right. I liked hearing Elanor Rigby live. They had a case of the Crossbreed syndrome of not sounding too good live (but I saw them later with Gravity Kills, they sounded much improved live). The biggest thing that stands out from Godhead was that gas mask. I'm not saying it was awesome, it was kinda neutral on me, but I know the lead singer had it on throughout one or two of the songs.

Next up came Stein. I was an ok fan back then, except that I hadn't heard Mutter yet. I was just getting to really like them back then. I had Herzeleid, Sehnsucht, and LAB CD. So this basically means I didn't know their new songs, which really sucks. I want to see them live again so bad, because I'm like 500% more of a fan now then before. I do know that no fire was used, they were not allowed because they played in a little club and it would have been easy for them to burn the place down. They used lots of smoke (cool) and lighting (very irritating when it hit my eyes). The show happened so long ago (I think a year and one month ago) that I don't remember too many details, but I know the mosh pit was pretty big and everyone went nuts over Du Hast. It was definitely an awesome show, and the next time they come through the US, I'm gonna see them twice at least.
