Review

What expectations yet again! This time we had a couple of friends with us and it was their first time to see the Ramm boys. We had raved about them so much from our previous encounters, everything from the set to the lights and pyros.

As soon as we arrived at our seats we noticed no stage set up for the support act and soon spotted the tracks by the front of the stage just before the fans started there were 3 cameras and more cameras at the back of the arena just after the standing and before the seating and here was another camera that extends out to the fans in the tiers and then followed Oli in the boat. Perhaps a 'Live at Birmingham' DVD, how great would that be, especially as we all want more footage of the Ramm boys and soon!

As you can imagine we were a little bit disappointed at our position this time we were in the tiers near the front with the lighting rigging and speakers limiting our views. We really wanted our friends to be able to get a view of the whole show. We only got to see Till's legs most of the night and nothing really of Richard. We got to see a lot of Paul and Oli with their numerous guitar changes (these roadies/crew sure must earn their money), and the crew preparing the 'cauldron' with Flake getting into it also the 'infamous' dingy being brought out for Oli. We also got to see a lot of Schneider stepping from and to his kit.

Before the show kicked off we did notice one of the crew looked like the man who appeared in the making of 'Sonne' the video. In the vid Till was leaning his chin on this mans shoulder and it was the scene where they were watching playback as Paul was getting his ass spanked and they were all laughing raucously.

One of our disappointments was that Till and Richard didn't take of their tops for us girls, real shame.

Schneider wearing his hot pants and boy I bet they were hot and the fishnets. Does his sister still design their stage wear? If she does we bet they had a great time and a right laugh when they had to find the extra, extra, extra long length for him. Very sexy all the same.

Well enough about what they were wearing back to the music.....

We noticed that they still had taken off the set list 'Rein Raus' and 'Moskau' shame about this as we loved to hear Richard shout out Rein Raus as seen and heard at Nottingham, makes us all jump!

The order of play was the same, we think!

A couple of observations is that its a shame that Till doesn't do his pelvic thrust moves in DRSG and touching himself when the lyrics talk about 'wet skin'. Come on you must forgive us we are women after all and know a hunk when we see one (or several in the case of Rammstein)!

During 'Los' we did laugh as we saw Oli mimicking Flakes moves and following him around the stage for a short while. Till does his usual and picks on Flake again, by grabbing him by his hair and dragging him to the front of the stage. So we guess some good did come out of us having this view point.

Great to hear the crowd shouting out the words and the fans beating Till in 'Ich Will' when he sings about 'hands in the air' even though he did shout out at the fans 'hands up England'! What a treat this was as he is a man of few words, at least on stage.

As he said this we looked at each other our jaws nearly hitting the floor! Ha ha. As usual as that time nears and they say their farewells we are left, yet again, wanting more. Will we ever have enough of Rammstein.... I don't think so!!

It was great to hear the fans on our way back to the bus/car park singing the lyrics and generally having a buzz about the show. And we didn't get another free R+beaker as in Berlin with our drinks.

Wir fuhlen dich Rammstein sehnsucht is so grausam, bis bald.
