Review

For a start it was as hot as an oven in the NEC (we're having a heatwave here in the UK) and Rammstein were an hour late starting (tickets said 7.30pm & they appeared at about 8.40pm). They started off with Reise Reise & it was amazing. I had taken my friend to his 1st Rammstein gig & he was blown away from the start! What totally spoilt it was the violent mosh pit that started up right infront of us. I was so preoccupied watching out for flying elbows they totally spoilt the gig for me, so thanks to the short guy with short dark hair a green t-shirt & the stocky taller guy with a blue t-shirt & glasses for totally ruining the gig for me! Other than that Rammstein were amazing, apart from Tills arm flame thrower things not working! They wouldnt ignite to start with and there seemed to be a problem with the feed line. Flake smashing his keyboard (ala Who) and flinging it into the crowd was hilarious (I hope someone was watching their head!). They played Benzine & it went down a storm with everyone. Its a fairly hard & fast sounding song so I cannot wait for the next album! I'm just so glad I got to see them twice this year after such a long break from the UK.
