Review
We arrived late (like usual when I'm going somewhere), like 8 minutes past 5 p.m. and of course there was already a bunch of people waiting outside. But we were 2nd in line. There were many Germans, one 40-45 year-old woman that I know from a picture (she's got that huge R+-symbol on her arm) aid that she had been to the concerts in Paris, London and now Amsterdam (wow!). When the entrance was opened my friend and I ran into Heineken Hall and got into the 1st row left from the middle, just as we had planned. Support band was Clawfinger and they were really good again; I already enjoyed their music at the concert in Munich and the crowd in Amsterdam loved them. Flake was 1st on stage, then Till was brought down on stage standing on this metal lid and then he started singing "Mein Herz brennt". It was the same as at the other concerts... I don't know if anyone has already mentioned that Christoph's hair is black now and he's looking really great again! Paul's "garland" is red now and it doesn't look that bad in reality. I recognized for the 1st time that he's got a red kind of tattoo on both arms (maybe only for the shows), looking like a barcode. Till gained weight again and he didn't shave his head, so you could see small dark hair that had grown again...The crowd was really crazy and much worse than in the US, so we really had a hard time to try to not fall on the ground. Some guy was thrown just from the crowd onto the floor behind the barrier with his face onto the ground - there were too few security guards and those that were there were too slow! At Engel, a blond woman came on stage and sang the refrain - I took a picture of her (at least I hope so). After they came on stage for the 3rd time, everybody was on stage including Till with his burning coat, only Richard was missing and everybody of them was searching for him - they were looking around and you could hear that something was missing that is part of the song... then suddenly Richard came on stage and played on his guitar - much too late!
They performed Bück Dich and that fluid that came out of Till's penis was smelling awful - like sal ammoniac. When they played Stripped Flake rode a short time in his boat - he looked really nice, but a little bit scared! He had already made gestures to his crew that he wants to get back on stage and then he fell out of the boat and they tore his pants apart. All the members of Rammstein stood on the edge of the stage and reached for him to help him to get back on stage - that was so cute! When he had come back on stage, everybody was laughing and Flake look ashamed - he wrapped a towel around his waist and kept on playing like this. Richard had thrown himself on the ground because he was laughing so much, Till did a roll and afterwards he pretended his fingers to be his penis (or better said Flake's penis) and made funny movements with them - then it became clear what had happened! Then all the members stepped forward on the edge of stage and bowed to the crowd. Till said: Thank you very much, Amsterdam! And then something like "ein Amsterdam nach Amsterdam" or "an Amsterdam to Amsterdam" (I can't remember if it was English or German) and nobody got what he means (even not my Dutch friend) because the name Amsterdam comes from the river Amstel and means nothing...(???) It was a really great show, although you hardly could hear Till's voice many times and they had microphone problemes (Till's microphone didn't work anymore, then he got another one from the left side of the stage which didn't work either, then he got another one from the right side which still had to be turned on and so we couldn't hear the 1st seconds of the song-great!) and I'm looking forward to Friday when I'll see them again in Freiburg!
